Lord Jesus, the Word of God, Who reveals the mystery of the Triune God, I call on You this day of Passover to direct all those who betray, the angel of death, the prince of this world, all ill luck and bad luck, all misfortunes and misadventure, all ailments and maladies, all satanic, demonic, negative influences and powers to pass over me and all members of my family, and all that is ours today and forever. Lord Jesus, Bread of Heaven and Cup of Salvation, You who took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it, take my life — bless it, break it, and make it a gift for others. As I come to Your table, feed me with the Bread of Life for my strength, and fill me with the Wine of the Spirit for inward joy. Let this communion not end at the table, but continue in the offering of my life — given, shared, and poured out in love. Let there be within me a deep and living fellowship with all who belong to You, that my home may become a sanctuary of Your presence and my life a testimony to Your love. Lord Jesus, the Passover Lamb, ever-present in God, be present in my life and all those of all the members in my family; and make today a day we pass over from empty to plenty, from infertility to fertility, from slavery to sin to freedom from sin and temptation, from damnation to justification, from oppression to justice, from wickedness to kindness, from division within the family to unity within, from fear to confidence, from despondency to hope in Christ, from foolery to bravery and wisdom, from want to plenty, from spiritual barrenness to spiritual richness, from famine to bounteous harvest, from crying to joy, from sadness to happiness and from poverty in all things to prosperity in all things I need to be saved. Lord Jesus Christ, Servant-King, Bearer of all good, Mediator of the New Covenant, You who loved Your own to the end and taught that the greatest is the one who serves, the Sacrificial Lamb, accept the sacrifice of my life and my talents, my gifts and poor offerings and present these as acceptable to God our Father Who chose us before the creation of the world, destining us to be His adoptive children. Lord Jesus, Eternal Word spoken by God the Father through the love of the Holy Spirit, Who instituted the new covenant of love today, fill me with Your love and hold me and all members of my family in one love of heavenly union. Lord Jesus, the Word which expresses communion and leads us into the depths of the divine life of the Most Blessed Trinity, let me and all members of my family enjoy the benefits of Holy Communion, let us be in right communion with You, Jesus Christ – El Emmanuel. Lord of the Upper Room, who shared the table even with the one who would betray You, keep my heart faithful. Deliver me from coldness of life and from every subtle compromise. Lord Jesus, Sanctifier of the soul, prepare my heart for these sacred mysteries. Deepen my reverence. Let gratitude rise within me for the immeasurable love revealed in You, O Christ. Establish holy discipline within me — govern my thoughts, restrain my impulses, order my habits. Lord Jesus, Master of my soul, the Teacher, teach me to remain — to abide with You in watchfulness, to stand with You in the hour of testing, to follow You in the way of the Cross. Lord Jesus, the Crucified and Giving Lord, prepare me to behold the Cross with humility and the empty tomb with awe and joy. Let my life become Eucharistic — a thanksgiving lived, a sacrifice offered, a love made visible in the world, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Who loved us and gave Himself for us, Who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
