Most Holy and Bountiful God, Unfathomable Source of all that is, and Giver of every perfect gift: in this sacred season of Lent, when the Church calls us to reflection, humility, and renewal, I come before You seeking a deeper grace — the grace to live not for myself alone, but in faithful service to You and to others.

Holy Spirit, Divine In-Dweller, search my heart, and cleanse it from the quiet selfishness that so easily takes root within me. Deliver me from the subtle habit of living only for my own comfort, my own advancement, my own security. Where my life has become closed in upon itself, open it by Your touch, to that I may become a vessel for the wide and generous purposes of Your Kingdom.

Holy Spirit, Divine Giver of grace, teach my hand the readiness of Angels of God to serve, and awaken within me the noble spirit of service; teach my hands to be ready for good works; teach my eyes to notice the burdens others carry; and teach my heart to move quickly toward compassion and not toward indifference. Grant that I may not pass by the needs of others unmoved. Let me not wait for grand opportunities before I serve, but make me faithful in the small and hidden acts of kindness through which Your love quietly flows.

Lord Jesus Christ, the Pattern of Perfect Surrender, You who laid aside the robes of light to take up the towel of a servant, form within me Your own servant heart. Lord Jesus Christ, You knelt to wash the feet of Your disciples, You bore the weight of the Cross for the redemption of the world, in like fashion let that same humble spirit shape my life.

Lord God Almighty, Divine Life, grant that where pride resists the lowly task, give me humility; where weariness tempts me to withdraw, give me perseverance; and where fear makes me hesitant to give, give me courage and trust. Plant deeply within me the spirit of holy generosity — a generosity not measured merely by abundance, but by willingness. Deliver me from the poverty of a guarded heart. Teach me to give freely of my time, my strength, my resources, and my attention, knowing that all I possess has first been given by You.

Father, like Jesus, Who came not to be served but to serve, grant that generosity becomes the rhythm of my life: so I may be generous in patience, generous in forgiveness, generous in encouragement, and generous in material blessing. Let my service be quiet, sincere, and joyful — offered not for recognition, but as a fragrant offering before Your throne. And as I pour myself out in love for others, remind me that I do not give from emptiness, but from the abundance of Your grace. For the more freely I give, the more deeply I participate in the life of Christ Himself.

Father, consecrate my hands for service; consecrate my heart for compassion; consecrate my life for usefulness in Your Kingdom; and enabling me to be a living sacrifice for Your glory – so when this Lenten journey leads at last to the Resurrection morning, may I be found clothed in the garments of a servant, radiant with the joy of a life given away for love, rising with Christ into a life marked by humble service and radiant generosity. Amen.
