Father Almighty, the Great I Am, God of all flesh and Breath of every living thing, I lift before You, those bowed by the weight of sickness — those whose bodies have become fields of pain, and those whose spirits are weary under the long shadow of infirmity – and pray for mercy upon them, and look upon these Your children with the eyes of the Suffering Servant, and deliver them from sickness, ill health and any form of ailment in mind, body, soul or spirit.

Jehovah Rapha, Eternal Healer, You who formed us in wisdom and sustain us in mercy, look upon Your children that are ill with compassion that does not fail. Lord Jesus, the Physician Who sees beyond symptoms, the Restorer who speaks to the root of all affliction, grant to the sick that where there is brokenness, there is wholeness; where there is weakness, there is release of strength; where there is fear, or chaos of disease, let Your peace descend like a quiet river; and where there is chronic pain, let the refining fire of the Holy Spirit consume the infirmity and leave behind the gold of a resurrected vitality.

O Living God, Breath within our breath, move through the hidden places of the body and the depths of the mind of the sick. Breathe over the organs that have faltered and the minds that have been clouded by the mists of medication and despair. Let the “Oil of Gladness” replace the spirit of heaviness, and let the “Garment of Praise” shield them from the arrows of hopelessness. Let every system of the unwell come into alignment with Your design. Let every disorder in their body yield to Your order. Let every trace of disease bow to Your authority. Speak into flesh and marrow, into nerve and thought, and let life answer to Your voice. Where strength has been drained, restore vitality. Where clarity has been dimmed, bring light. Where pain has lingered, let relief flow like healing balm.

O God of tender mercy and mighty power, touch not only the body of the sick, but the soul within them. Heal the unseen wounds — the burdens carried in silence, the grief that settles in the heart, the weariness that words cannot express. Father, over the “pestilence that walks in darkness,” in the unwell decree that no shadow of death shall prevail over them; apply the Balm of Gilead to the hidden wounds of the soul that manifest in the flesh; let the grace of absolute forgiveness wash through their veins, dissolving the toxins of the past and making the waters of their being sweet again. I ask for the strength of the eagle to return to their limbs and the clarity of the morning sun to return to their eyes. Grant them the patience of the desert and the certainty of the Empty Tomb, knowing that their current trial is but a passage to a deeper glory. For the sick, let hope rise again; exchanging their heaviness for gladness; and clothing them with quiet joy that no illness can steal.

Lord God, Holy and Mighty, draw near to every bedside of the ill; fill hospital rooms and homes of the sick with Your nearness. Send forth Your healing power — working through every means You have ordained, until restoration is made complete in the sick. Command that all divine powers of healing descend upon the sick I pray for; let the Angel of Health Who stirred the pool, stand sentry at the bedside of the suffering; and order Your angels of healing to move through the wards of the hospitals and the quiet rooms of the home, whispering the promises of the Covenant.

Lord God, Faithful Sustainer of life, I entrust the sick into Your hands – let Your Word stand over them; let Your mercy uphold them; let Your healing be made manifest in them; raise them from weakness into strength, from affliction into wholeness, and from waiting into testimony. Lord, Father of all compassion grant that the sick may rise from their beds of languishing to walk in Your courts, and standing in society again, as living testimony to the power of the Resurrected Christ
— renewed in body, restored in spirit, and anchored in the certainty that You are God who heals, through Your Son, Jesus, the Great Physician, in Whose name I pray. Amen.
