O Adonai, Giver of Every Good and Perfect Gift, having prayer for the ninefold fruit of the Holy Spirit, I come before Your throne today, Most Holy God, Author of my days, praying for gifts of the Holy Spirit implanted in me even before my birth be manifest and active in me; and grant that I use these gifts in me to Your honour and glory, for the cause of the Kingdom and for my own good and welfare – making me a functioning instrument of God’s power in men.
Holy Spirit, Architect of the Soul, I do not seek these gifts to adorn my own ego or to carve out a name for myself in this temporary world, rather let these dormant seeds of heaven rise up and take hold of my life. Grant me the gift of Wisdom to discern between the cleverness of man and the truth of God. Grant me the gift of Knowledge to perceive the depths of Your creation and the needs of humanity. Grant me the gift of Discernment, that I may distinguish between the spirit of this age and the Spirit of the Living God. Grant me the gift of Eloquence and Utterance, that whenever I am called to speak or to craft solutions in this new era, my words may carry the weight of Your authority and the clarity of Your truth.
Lord Jesus, Source of all Empowerment, You distributed gifts to Your Church that we might build one another up. I consecrate these gifts back to You: my intellect, my creative capacity, my ability to serve, and my capacity to lead. May they be active, sharpened, and fully yielded to Your will. Let no fear hinder their use; let no pride pollute their operation. Whether through the work of my hands, the thoughts of my mind, or the ministry of my presence, let these gifts flow as an unceasing river for the good of my neighbour and the glory of Your Name.
Triune God, Bond of Divine Love, I thank You that I do not walk into the future alone or ill-equipped. You have provided everything necessary for life and godliness. Teach me to be a faithful steward of the power You have placed within me. May I use these gifts not for gain, not for recognition, and not for comfort—but as a necessary and joyful act of worship. Shape my days so that the gifts You have planted in me at my birth become the legacy I leave for the Kingdom. Let them blossom now, in this Lenten season, that I might bear fruit that lasts into eternity.
Lord Jesus, Master of my soul, teach me to cooperate with Your grace daily, that my life become fertile soil for Your Spirit’s work, and may everything You have sown in me bring forth abundance according to Your divine purpose – all which I seek from God, our Father, through You and in unity of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
