EL SHADDAI, the All-Bountiful and O Divine Giver, Source of every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, grant that on this 10th day in this Lenten season the words of my mouth and the secret meditations of my heart become be acceptable in Your sight; let them be refined by the fire of Your holiness; and cleansed of the dross of vanity – so I may in divine alignment with You, our Father.
God Almighty, Whose glory the heavens declare and Whose majesty the firmament proclaims, I pray that You let my life to declare Your glory and exhibit Your majesty in favors I enjoy from You. Father, Searcher of hearts and Weigher of spirits, as the skies pour forth knowledge day unto day, so let my works testify not to my name, but to Yours; and if I am acknowledged, let it be because Your favor rests upon what I do; if I am remembered, let it be because Your goodness has passed through me.
JEHOVAH JIREH, the Lord Who sees and provides, Who pitched a tabernacle for the sun and clothed it with strength to run its course: pitch Your tent over me; spread above me the canopy of Your sovereign providence; and let me dwell in the vineyard of Your purpose, rooted deeply in Christ, the True Vine. Father, as nothing escapes the warmth of the sun’s rising, so let nothing ordained for me by Your infinite wisdom escape me. Lord God, teach me to desire not merely Your blessings, but also alignment with You and our Saviour Your Son, Jesus Christ; and not merely increase in material things, but intimacy with Christ. Father as Your law is perfect, reviving the soul – revive mine; and as testimony about You is sure, making wise the simple simplify my heart.
EL ELYON, God Most High, instruct me in the hidden paths of obedience; train my spirit in the discernment of Your Kingdom; warn me before I wander into the deserts of my own making; and restrain me before I fall into the pits of my own pride. O Jah Jehovah, the Lord my Righteousness, keep me from presumptuous sins; let no secret pride enthrone itself within the temple of my soul; let no subtle compromise take root in me; and rule over my will, that sin may not rule over me.
Father of Mercies and Distributor of Grace, by the blood of the everlasting covenant, wash me from the defilements that hide beneath the surface; guard my steps from the “great transgression” of self-sufficiency; and let my conscience be tender, not calloused, clear, not self-justified. Father, , Possessor of Heaven and Earth, grant me the grace to do what You ask — in the way You ask it, for as long as You ask it, simply because You ask it; enlighten my understanding with Divine Light; strengthen my will with holy resolve; and purify my heart until my desires are but echoes of Your Own.
Lord God, Holiest of all Holies. make me holy — not in appearance, but in essence; help me conquer anger with gentleness, ambition with humility, and greed with a lavish generosity; and make me prudent in counsel, courageous in obedience, patient in suffering, and restrained in success. Father, let my life be well-ordered under Your Lordship, my conduct carrying a quiet integrity, and my spirit remaining anchored in the harbor of eternity. Lord God, I pray, in prosperity, keep me small before You; in obscurity, keep me faithful before You; in prayer, keep me attentive; in fasting, keep me sincere; and in labor, keep me diligent.
ALPHA AND OMEGA, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, let Your favour rests upon me; let doors open before me; let Your hand turn the key that will release blessings upon me; and let me flourish, as a branch abiding in the Vine. Father, the Uncreated Wisdom, the Only Source, Who begat the Son and from the Holy Spirit proceeds, grant me the favour of being drawn near the bleeding side of Christ; let grant me the favour of participation in Your Divine Will; and grant all these my prayers because I ask them in the name of Jesus Christ, the Sun of Righteousness. Amen.
