I choose faithfulness over convenience, loyalty over gain, and love over self. O Crucified Lord, as the shadow of the Cross draws near, draw my heart into its holy mystery. You bore suffering without bitterness, obedience without resistance, and love without measure. O Faithful Redeemer, keep me from every form of betrayal — not only in great things, but in the quiet compromises of the heart. Let me not turn away. Let me not grow cold. Let me not exchange truth for ease or devotion for gain. Keep me near You, steady in love, firm in faith, and faithful unto the end.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Prepare me, O Lord, for all that lies ahead — that I may be found faithful in Your sight.
