O Great I AM, my Fortress and my Deliverer, my Shield in the day of trial and my Shepherd through the valley of shadow, I invoke You as the Ancient of Days and the Architect of every turning path. Before You, the Alpha and Omega, the Watcher over every wayfarer, I lay the burden of my journey in life and my daily traverse of space to earn a living. You are the immovable Rock upon which I stand, the Pillar of Cloud that leads my steps, and the ever-present Sentinel who guards the threshold of my heart. I call upon You now: deliver me from the misfortunes and tribulations that beset the wayfarer. Let no sudden calamity or shadowed path obstruct my progress, and protect me from the accidents, setbacks, and frustrations that life can throw my way. Instead, Father, encompass me with Your crowning mercy and be the light that guides my feet toward Your eternal kingdom.
Great I Am, my Guardian and my Guide, grant that may I shun the shadow of deceit and walk in the path of righteousness. Bestow upon me a heart that is not merely wise, but deeply understanding—a vessel reflecting the mind of Christ, illuminated by the Holy Spirit. Help me to master these new capabilities—these tools of discovery and creation—to solve problems with integrity and to serve others with a clarity that only You can provide. Lord God, Who was the guide for Abraham in his sojourn, and the strength of Peter and Paul in their apostolic travels, walk with me as I navigate this life. Help me to see myself truly: a pilgrim moving through an age of upheaval, called to love all whom I encounter—whether they be my peers, those who hold authority over me, or those entrusted to my care. May my every action, every thought, and every labour be a reflection of my love for You, growing deeper and more profound with each passing day. I entrust my intellect, my tools of discovery, and the very future of my understanding into Your hands, so the work of my hand and fruit of my labour may be blessed, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, in Whose name I pray.
